Two Inglemoor High School athletes have decided to sign letters of intent on Feb. 12 to run in college.

Kyra Burke will sign a letter to run cross country at Loyola Marymount University in California and Michael Mendenhall will sign to compete in track at the University of Alaska Anchorage.

Burke finished 10th in state last year for the Vikings, while Mendenhall broke the school record in the 1,600-meters with a time of 4 minutes, 14.04 seconds to take seventh during the state meet in 2012.

Both athletes are receiving scholarships for college as a result of signing with their respective universities.
