LaVine selected as 4A KingCo MVP, Callendret earns first-team honors | Prep boys basketball

The 4A KingCo regular-season awards were announced Friday and the Bothell boys basketball team earned some high distinctions from the league's coaches.

The Cougars' Zach LaVine took home the 4A KingCo league's Most Valuable Player award. LaVine led the league by averaging 30 points per game.

LaVine and teammate Perrion Callendret were also selected for the 4A KingCo first-team honors.

Bothell's Josh Martin was selected to the 4A KingCo second team, while teammate Kellen Webster was selected as an honorable mention.
