Winters places fourth on vault, Dixon takes 19th at state meet | Prep gymnastics

Bothell High School gymnast Julia Winters was the only Bothell or Kenmore athlete to stand on the medal podium Saturday after scoring a 9.55, placing her fourth on vault during the finals of the Washington State Gymnastics Meet.

The event was held Friday and Saturday at the Tacoma Dome Exhibition Center with Emerald Ridge narrowly edging out Woodinville for the team title.

Bothell teammate Marquesa Dixon finished 19th in All-Around with a combined score for all four events of 33.22 points during the meet.

Other All-Around finishers included Bothell’s Nikki Lamken at 48th and Inglemoor’s Kira Olsen finished 51st.
