The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team beat Bellarmine Prep 68-42 Friday night at Jackson High School in Mill Creek to advance to state. It is the Vikings' 11th consecutive victory.
The Vikings used strong third-quarter defense to hold the the Lions to just four points. That third-quarter effort extended a 37-27 halftime lead Inglemoor built during the first half with a powerful unstoppable offense.
The Vikings did a good job of sharing the ball as both Deja Strother and Kelly Conroy finished with 20-points each, while teammate Alex Hagen had 13 points. Overall, Inglemoor had eight players score during the game.
The Lions were led by Ionna Prince with 17 points.
