Inglemoor to play for fourth place at state tournament | Prep girls basketball

The Inglemoor High School girls basketball team guaranteed itself of placing at state Friday afternoon with a 44-34 victory against Skyline at the Tacoma Dome.
The Vikings will play at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday against Gonzaga Prep for fourth place at the Hardwood Classic. The loser will take sixth in state.
Against the Spartans, Inglemoor's Deja Strother dominated with 18 points, 12 rebounds and three blocked shots. Strother was 7-of-11 from the floor.
It was the third time this season the Vikings have defeated Skyline. The last time the two teams met Inglemoor took the 4A KingCo tournament title from the Spartans.
The Vikings are 22-3 on the season.
Gonzaga Prep defeated Kentwood during its consolation semi-final game, 59-44. Gonzaga is 23-4 overall this season.
