Bothell swept by Lake Washington, 7-0 | Prep girls tennis

The Bothell girls tennis team was swept by Lake Washington on Monday 7-0.

The Kangs' Ellen Pearson beat Colleen Byrne 6-0, 6-1, while Amanda Levine of Lake Washington beat Erica Takano 6-2, 6-4.

Kelly Barnes defeated Rachelle Wharf of Bothell 6-4, 6-3, while Sarah Tamai beat Cougar Naime Herzog 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles action, Caroline Ross and Grace Muenz of Lake Washington beat Carla Carmena and Kelby Pierce 6-2, 6-2, while Kim Koshman and Kristi Lynch beat Bothell's team of Baylee Bissendon and Jane Phipps 6-4, 6-1.

Emily Chang and Jane Jung won a narrow victory against the Cougars' Chelsea Dinndorf and Nicole Bohra 6-7, 6-4, 10-6.
