Thompson allows just one run as Cedar Park beats Vashon Island | Prep baseball

The Cedar Park Christian baseball team defeated Vashon Island 6-1 Friday behind the pitching of Josh Thompson.

Thompson pitched five innings, allowing just one run and striking out seven hitters.

The Eagles got on the board early, scoring tying the game at 1-1 during the bottom of the second and then putting up four more runs during the bottom of the third.

Phoenix Mourier and Josh Krause each finished with two hits for Cedar Park.
