Inglemoor loses season opener at Glacier Peak | Prep girls basketball

A slow start and finish cost the Inglemoor High School girls basketball team the first game of the season Wednesday night at Glacier Peak. The Vikings lost to the Grizzlies 47-31.

Inglemoor's offense struggled during the first quarter, scoring five points. Luckily, Glacier Peak was not too much better, scoring just seven points.

The teams traded baskets during the second quarter, as the Vikings went into halftime trailing 21-18.

Inglemoor would fall further behind during the third quarter and score just three points during the fourth quarter.

The Vikings were led by Deja Strother with 11 points.
