Third-quarter slump costs Cedar Park against Vashon Island | Prep boys basketball

Cedar Park Christian traveled from Bothell to Vashon Island Wednesday and a third-quarter slump cost the team a shot at the victory. Vashon won the game 65-42.

The Eagles fell behind during the first quarter by five points and then got outscored during the second quarter, 18-10. But it was the third quarter that killed any chance for Cedar Park to wage a comeback, instead getting doubled up 18-9.

Cedar Park was led by Trey Drechsel who scored 15 points.-
