Cougars crush Hazen, hold team to just 12 points | Prep girls basketball

The Bothell High School girls basketball team was not allowing much of anything on defense Friday night against Hazen, winning 56-12 in Renton.

The Cougars completely shutdown and shutout Hazen during the first quarter, taking a 16-0 lead heading into the second period.

Hazen showed some life during the second quarter as they entered halftime down 28-5.

One three-pointer was all the home team could muster during the third quarter and four points during the fourth period, as Bothell dominated Hazen in every facet of the game.

The Cougars did a good job of spreading the ball around with 10 players scoring during the contest. Taya Corosdale led all scorers with 14 points for Bothell.
