Bothell rides huge second quarter to victory | Prep boys basketball

The Bothell High School boys basketball team rode a huge second quarter advantage to a win Friday night against Eastlake 78-58 in Bothell.

After trailing the Wolves by during the first quarter, the Cougars dominated the team from the plateau with a 28-11 run. Bothell carried some of that momentum over into the second half by outscoring their opponents by five during the third and then cruising to the win.

Josh Martin led all scorers as he put up 22 points for the Cougars. Teammates Peyton Cordova-Smith (15 points), Ross Bowers (12 points) and Josh Kollman (12 points) scored in double figures for Bothell.
