Inglemoor pounds Ballard during second half for victory | Prep girls basketball

It took an entire half of play for the Inglemoor High School girls basketball team to hit its stride Wednesday night. But the Vikings crushed the Beavers during the second half to run away with a 73-37 win in Ballard.

The two teams were only separated by two points after the first eight minutes of play and the Vikings score just 11 points during the second quarter. But Inglemoor came alive during the third quarter, outscoring its opponents 24-10. The fourth quarter was more of the same as the Vikings continued its dominant run for a 23-9 final period of play.

Inglemoor was led by Deja Strother's 21 points and Brooklyn Walker's 14 points.
