Bothell beats Northshore rival Inglemoor | Prep boys basketball

The Bothell High School boys basketball team bounced back after their loss to Garfield to defeat Inglemoor 57-46 behind strong defensive play Friday night in Kenmore.

The teams started the game playing basket-for-basket, as Bothell took a one-point lead into the second quarter. Both teams would struggle on offense during that second period, combining for just eight total points. But it would be Inglemoor that struggled the most. The Vikings scored just one point, a free-throw shot, during the entire quarter and trailed at halftime 20-13.

The Cougars extended that lead by four during the third quarter and never looked back.

Bothell was led by Josh Martin with 34 points and Peyton Cordova-Smith with 11 points. Inglemoor was led by William Luckette with 17 points, Trey Miller with 13 points and Collin Portugal scored 11.
