Cedar Park defeats Chimacum | Prep boys basketball

The Cedar Park boys basketball team defeated Chimacum Friday 66-45 in Bothell.

The Eagles began the game by doubling up the visitors 14-7 during the first quarter but only led 23-20 at halftime.

But it was a huge third quarter that left Chimacum in Cedar Park's dust. The Eagles outscored their opponents 27-9.

Chimacum kept pace during the fourth quarter but was unable to make up ground.

Cedar Park was led by Try Drechsel with 23 points, while David McLaurin  finished with 15 points.
