The Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team finished the State Championship Tournament with a 59-34 victory against Toledo on Saturday to clinch a fourth-place finish at the Sun Dome in Yakima.

The two teams traded leads during the first quarter and into the second. But Cedar Park was able to take control just before halftime along with a 31-19 lead. From there, the Eagles stayed ahead of the Indians to win the game.

Trey Drechsel (16 points) and David McLaren (14 points) led the Eagles to the win, while Isaiah Penchion (nine points) and Nate Lundberg (eight points) helped to diversify the scoring threat.

Penchion nearly finished with a double-double, as he pulled down 10 rebounds, while Drechsel had seven rebounds.

Cedar Park finished the regular season with a 15-2 record and the 1A Nisqually regular-season title. The team finished with an 18-8 record overall, along with being the fourth best team in the entire state.
