Inglemoor edges Roosevelt behind Portugal's pitching | Prep baseball

The Inglemoor High School baseball team edged Roosevelt Wednesday, 2-1, in Kenmore behind the pitching of Colin Portugal.

All the scoring came during the second inning. Roosevelt put up a run during the top of the inning and the Vikings came right back for two runs, and the lead, during the bottom of the inning.

Portugal threw a complete game, giving up just three hits and one earned run, while striking out five batters.
