Bothell boys undefeated, girls relay team sets new record | Prep track and field

Both boys and girls Bothell High School track and field teams defeated both Eastlake and Issaquah Thursday. The teams will face Garfield and Newport tomorrow in Bellevue.

The boys team defeated Eastlake 73-68 and Issaquah 73-40. The Cougar boys enter the meet tomorrow undefeated and tied for first in 4A KingCo.

The girls beat Eastlake 81-57 and Issaquah 81-51. The girls 800 meter relay team set a new school record, finishing in one minute, 43.27 seconds. It is also the fastest time ran in the state so far this year.

The Cougar girls have lost just one meet this season.
