Basketball

Bothell Girls Select Basketball will be hosting tryouts for players in grades 5-9 Oct. 1-2.

Tryouts are from 6-7:30 p.m. (5-6) and 7:30-9 p.m. (7-9) at Canyon Park Junior High (Oct. 1) and Skyview Junior High (Oct. 2).

Wrestling

The 25th annual Northshore Kids Wrestling program will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays Oct. 8-Nov. 3 in the Inglemoor High wrestling room.

The first practice and sign up will be at 5:15 p.m. Oct. 8.

Fee is $60 per child with discounts for multiple family members; the fee can be waived for cases of financial hardship.

Cheer

The Bothell High Junior Cheerleading Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 11.

The Cougar cheer squad will teach participants how to dance, cheer, chant, jump and more. The camp is open to boys and girls in grades K-6 and will be held in the Bothell High gym. It will be adult supervised.

Pre-registration is $45 before Oct. 3 and $50 at the door. Participants should bring a sack lunch, bottle of water, athletic shoes and comfortable shorts or sweats. Kids will receive a T-shirt and pom pom, and there will be photo cards and hair ribbons for sale.

There be a performance for the parents at 12:30 p.m.

Volleyball

Rain City Volleyball Club is hosting three open gyms (Oct. 17, 24 and 31) from 7-9 p.m. at Kenmore Junior High. Pre-registration is encouraged as the sessions are limited to 30 participants. Cost is $5 per session. Visit www.eteamz.com/raincityvb for forms or call Cheryl at (425) 481-7855.
