Bothell thrashes Bethel, 41-7

Big runs and pass plays were the name of the game in Bothell High's 41-7 victory over Bethel High Friday night in the first round of the 4A state football playoffs at Pop Keeney Field.
Patrick Ottorbech and Colby Burk both reeled off touchdown scampers of 57 and 52 yards, respectively, and quarterback Mitchell Muller hit Kurt Stottlemyer for a 72-yard TD pass on the night.
Muller also hooked up with Michael Hartvigson (14 yards) and Perry Conricode (16 yards) for scores, and Ottorbech chipped in with a 4-yard TD run.
Bothell (7-3) will next travel to Curtis (9-1) for a state matchup this week.
Inglemoor ended its season with a 35-14 loss to Auburn Friday night.
