The Seattle Synchronized Swim team is holding a free “try-it” session from 11 a.m. to noon Nov. 15 at the Carole Ann Wald Memorial pool in St. Edward State Park, 14445 Juanita Drive N.E., Kenmore.

Jump roping

Jesse Bica, world-champion member of the Hot Dog USA jump-rope team, will conduct a workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at Westhill Elementary in Bothell. This workshop is geared toward students kindergarten through sixth grade. No prior jump-rope experience is required. Little League

North Bothell Little League is holding baseball and softball 2009 registration for players ages 5-18.

Online registration runs through Dec. 31 at www.northbothell.org.

Walk-in registration will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Skyview Junior High cafeteria, 21404 35th Ave. S.E., Bothell.

Parks and rec

• Non-Contact Tae Kwon Do for ages 7 and up from 7-8 p.m. ongoing Monday and Wednesdays at the Maywood Hills Elementary Gym (19510 104th Ave. N.E., Bothell).

Cost is $52 (residents) and $57 (non-residents) for eight sessions.

• Adult Open Gym Volleyball for ages 18 and up from 6-8:30 p.m. ongoing Monday evenings at the W.A. Anderson Gym (18603 Bothell Way N.E., Bothell).
