Inglemoor running strong into 4A state on Saturday

Inglemoor High completed a four-victory run last Saturday with a 9-4 win over Heritage (Vancouver) to secure a 4A state-tournament berth.
The Vikings (15-9 overall) are scheduled to play Puyallup at a time to be determined this Saturday at Kent Memorial.
Against Heritage, Eric Raynes drove in three runs with a double and a home run and Sam Johnston and Scott Meyers had two hits apiece.
Inglemoor teed off against Issaquah with 12 hits in a 12-9 victory May 14. Mark Dickerson led the hit parade with three hits, four RBIs, a home run and a double, followed by Raynes with three hits and two RBIs and Johnston with two hits, two RBIs, a home run and a double. Pitcher Spencer Trautman earned the win.
In the Vikings’ 11-4 win over Skyline, Raynes had two homers and six RBIs. Austin Heuter got the win with six strikeouts.
In other playoff games, Inglemoor beat Woodinville, 10-2, and lost to Redmond, 12-10.
The state finals are May 29-30 at Safeco Field.
Bothell
Issaquah defeated Bothell, 15-5, May 11 to knock the Cougars out of the playoffs. They finished the season 13-9 overall.
Alex Reynolds had two hits and four RBIs for Bothell on the day.
