Bothell High's season ended with a 68-49 loss to Eastlake High last night in the 4A Kingco boys basketball tournament.

In a loser-out contest at Juanita High, Dominic Ballard led the Cougars (12-12 overall) with 14 points, followed by Oliver Hurtin with 12 and Jake Madsen 11.

Following Tuesday's 46-44 win over Woodinville, coach Ron Bollinger reflected on the Cougars' season: "Because Dominic's in his first year with us, it took a while to gel, but Michael Hartvigson, Oliver Hurtin, Kyle McAllister, those guys have been here for three years and playing together. It's a real good group of guys and very similar to your team two years ago that went down to Vancouver and had a chance to go to state."
