Bothell baseball downs Inglemoor, 3-1, in 10 innings

Bothell knocked in two runs in the top of the 10th inning en route to a 3-1 baseball victory over 4A KingCo rival Inglemoor on Monday.

Logan Leadley’s sacrifice fly scored the first run in the 10th. Jake Peoples and Bryce Long also had RBIs for Bothell during the game at Inglemoor.

Long’s RBI single tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the seventh inning.

Inglemoor jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning on a Sean Kauffman hit and RBI. Kauffman finished with two hits and teammate Will Larson had two hits as well.

Bothell had 10 hits and Inglemoor had seven.

Bothell got two hits each from Derek Lohr, Austin Baek and Darren Neil.

On the pitching front, Inglemoor’s Connor Portugal and Bothell’s Brody Ponti each hurled eight strong innings with seven and four strikeouts, respectively.

Lohr earned the win by pitching the final two innings of hitless, scoreless ball and striking out two.
