Bothell, Kenmore runners compete at state

Inglemoor’s Cooper Laird and Bothell’s Amrit Banga, Monserrat Lopez, Kerstin Ly and Liz Yusem competed at Saturday’s 4A state cross country meet at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

Laird had the local boys’ top time with a 38th-place 16:12.90 and Lopez was tops for the local girls with a 21st-place 19:18.40 in the 5K race.

In 1A, Cedar Park Christian’s Analia Johnson, Trent Mortensen and Hadley Putnam competed.
