Bothell’s Cole delivers in softball win over Newport

Shayla Cole nailed a homer, a double and had three RBIs in Bothell’s 6-5 softball victory over Newport on May 2.

Kelsey Fortney and Liz Olson had doubles for the Cougars.

In other action, North Creek defeated Skyline, 11-9.

For the Jaguars, Ashley Saenz had three hits, including two doubles; Malia Pinder had two hits; Carli Zanassi had three RBIs; and Sierra Hein, Makenna Fialdini and Elyssa Butterfield had two RBIs each.

Over at Woodinville, the Falcons downed Inglemoor, 13-3.

Camryn Scott, Sophia Fike and Taylor Waara all had singles and RBIs for the Viks.
