Cedar Park baseball qualifies for state

Cedar Park Christian baseball qualified for the 1A state tournament with a 13-0 victory over Lynden Christian on Monday.

The Eagles (20-2) will play Overlake/Bear Creek for the bi-district title at 3 p.m. Saturday at Joe Martin Stadium in Bellingham.

For the locals, winning pitcher Michael Attalah went 3-for-3 with three runs scored; Turner Glenn went 1-for-1 with two runs scored and three RBIs; and Luke Lampe went 1-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI.
