Bothell resident Dianna Church, an Inglemoor High School alum, of Pacific University has been recognized by the Northwest Conference for her performances in the recent Pacific Preview.
Church, a junior, was named the NWC Field Athlete of the Week. She improved her personal best in the shot put by over 2.5 feet with a mark of 41-0.5 (12.51m) while winning the competition at the Pacific Preview on Saturday. She improved by five feet in the hammer with a mark of 134-4 (40.96m) while finishing fifth overall. She improved to second and third respectively on the Boxer all-time lists. Nationally, she is currently ranked second in the shot and 13th in the hammer in the NCAA Division III.
