Inglemoor beats Woodinville, Newport to reach KingCo tournament | Prep volleyball

The Inglemoor High volleyball team reeled off a pair of clutch victories to qualify for the KingCo tournament on Monday evening at Inglemoor High School, beating Woodinville and Newport to break a three-way tie in the conference standings.

Inglemoor beat Woodinvlle 25-14, 25-21, 25-18 in the first tiebreaker, then moved on to beat Newport 22-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-15.

The Vikings move on to face Issaquah in the first round of the KingCo championship tournament, scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Bothell High School.

Bothell will also be in action on Nov. 3, playing Mount Si in the first round. The semifinals, against the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, are played immediately following the first round.
