Inglemoor girls set for 4A regional basketball action

Inglemoor’s girls basketball squad will compete in the 4A regional tournament at 4 p.m. Saturday against Kentridge at Auburn Mountain View High.

The Vikings (20-5 overall) beat Mount Si, 66-47, and Lake Stevens, 65-55, and lost to Woodinville, 64-49, at the WesKing District tourney.

North Creek (14-11 overall) ended its season at districts with losses to Eastlake (84-59) and Newport (60-44).

On the Inglemoor boys’ side, the Vikings (18-7 overall) ended their season with a 50-47 loss to Mariner at districts.

In earlier district action, the Viks beat Kamiak, 67-56, lost to Jackson, 55-41, and beat Mount Vernon, 69-56.
