Leonardi leads CPC past Bellevue Christian; Bothell moves to 3-0

Senior Andrei Leonardi scored 19 points for the Cedar Park Christian boys basketball team in a 56-44 nonconference win over Bellevue Christian on Dec. 2 in Bellevue.

George Reidy had 17 points in the win for the Eagles (2-1). Chase Witthuhn had eight points and Zach Fisk had six.

Ken West led Bellevue Christian (2-1) with 13 points.

Next, Cedar Park is scheduled to open Cascade Conference play with a road gam against Kings at 6:45 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Mike Martin Gymnasium in Shoreline.

Bothell 69, Cascade 48.

The Bothell High boys basketball team improved to 3-0 with a nonconference victory over Cascade on Dec. 3 at Bothell High School.

The Cougars jumped out to a 22-13 lead after the first quarter and outscored Cascade 16-6 in the fourth quarter.

Bothell beat Edmonds-Woodway, 81-67, on Dec. 2.

Next, the Cougars are scheduled to open conference play with a home game against Skyline at 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 6.

Lake Washington 76, Inglemoor 51.

Senior Ryan Hamilton led the Vikings with 18 points in a nonconference loss to Lake Washington on Dec. 2 in Kirkland.

Jaxon Peay had 10 points and Zach Sihmek had seven points for Inglemoor (0-2).

Next, Inglemoor is scheduled to play Eastlake in the KingCo opener at 7:15 p.m. on Dec. 6 at home.
