Seattle Seahawks players Justin Forsett and Darryl Tapp teamed up with members of the Bothell High football and volleyball squads Thursday for a Subway sandwich-building contest in the Bothell High cafeteria.

Subway and the Seahawks selected Bothell for the event because of the Cougars’ school spirit and stellar football and volleyball teams, which are 7-0 and 9-1 in the 4A Kingco Conference, respectively.

The event focused on helping remind students about the importance of eating healthy and forming healthy habits.

The football team won the contest by making its sandwich the fastest in front of TV cameras and a crowded cafeteria.
