June 21

Theft from vehicle

A stereo, wallet and Bluetooth device were stolen after someone smashed out a rear window to gain access to a car parked in the 12600 block of Northeast 200th Place. Police said they did not know if the car was parked on the street, in a driveway or lot. The stolen items were valued at $215.

June 20

Vehicle theft

A 1982 Honda motorcycle disappeared from what reports described as the carport of a residence in the 9900 block of Northeast 200th Street. Valued at $500, the bike was not recovered.

June 17

Commercial burglary

Valued at $800, a subwoofer speaker was stolen after thieves broke into a car-repair business in the 17100 block of State Route 522. It was not clear from reports how the suspects gained entry into the business.

Commercial burglary

Valued at $1,050, a gas saw was stolen after thieves gained access to a construction site in the 21200 block of 20th Avenue Southeast. Police speculated the thieves got onto the site via a small area that was not fenced in.

Residential burglary

Valued at $800, a gold chain, locket and earrings were stolen when persons unknown broke into a home in the 9600 block of Northeast 201st Street. Police said the suspects forced their way through the home’s front door to gain entry.

Theft from vehicle

Someone broke out a window in a car that was parked near an apartment building in the 17500 block of 80th Avenue Northeast. The owner said there were other items in the car, but the only thing taken was an iPod.

Police reports don’t say if the incidents were connected, but a GPS unit disappeared from a car parked in the lot of a condominium complex in the 17800 block of 80th Avenue. The two thefts were reported only a few minutes apart.

June 19

Vandalism

The victim told police he had left his car parked in front of his condominium in the 7700 block of Northeast 175th St. Unknown suspects smeared the car’s windshield with glue, then covered that same windshield with leaves. Reports did not mention any suspects.
