Bothell’s Butaud earns BECU Foundation Scholarship

Mattie Butaud of Bothell is among the 40 recipients to win a $2,500 BECU Foundation Scholarship for the 2010-11 school year. She was selected by a volunteer selection committee of local business, educational and nonprofit leaders based on a combination of strong dedication to community service, leadership and academics.

Butaud is a recent graduate of Providence Classical Christian School and will be attending Hillsdale College (Michigan) in the fall. She won a scholarship for her work on mission trips to Honduras.
