July 26
Assault, domestic violence
A juvenile, 16, was arrested for forth-degree assault after allegedly attacking a woman, 42, with a camera, according to police. Reports did not specify the relationship between the two except to say they are “family.” No injuries were reported. The incident took place at a home on 219th Place Southeast.
Theft
According to police, the suspects simply grabbed a handbag from a customer inside a pet store in the 22600 block of State Route 527. The suspects were described as a blonde, Caucasian woman and an African-American male. No arrests were made. Estimated value of the stolen items was $25.
Residential burglary
Valued at $300, a mountain bike was stolen from the yard of a home on 224th Southwest. Police did not report having any suspects.
July 24
Residential burglary
The suspect apparently cut out a screen in a window to gain access to an apartment in the 17000 block of 123rd Place Northeast. The burglar left with $600 in jewelry.
Theft from vehicle
A $500 stereo system was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot of an apartment complex in the 2100 block of 228th Street. The thief broke a window to gain access to the car.
July 23
Drug related
A man, 18, was arrested in the 20000 block of 112th Avenue Northeast for possession of a controlled substance. According to police, the suspect was carrying 110 grams of marijuana.
Theft
Money and a cell phone were stolen from a locker in a fitness center in the 11800 block of Northeast 195th Street. The items were valued at $250.
Residential burglary
Valued at $1,300, a computer and speakers were stolen when someone broke into a home in the 23000 block of Fitzgerald Road. Police list a male, 26, as a suspect.
July 21
Residential burglary
A firearm and a BB gun, total value about $250, was taken when persons unknown broke into a home in the 17200 block of 124th Avenue Northeast. The suspect cut a screen in a bathroom window to gain entry.
