Northshore athletes struggle at league tournament/ 4A Kingco Tennis

The Bothell and Inglemoor tennis squads struggled at last week’s 4A Kingco doubles and single tennis tournaments held at the University of Washington’s Nordstrom Center.

Bothell did not advance out of the opening round, but Inglemoor highlights included the doubles team of Glen Zinck and Jerry Jiang beating Woodinville’s Vincent Lopes and Fletcher Kurita, 6-4, 6-3, before being eliminated in the second round; and Paul Pisani nearly sweeping Roosevelt’s Jake Truitt, 6-0, 6-1, before being outmatched by Nate Billett of Woodinville, 6-1, 6-2.
