University of Washington, Bothell to host Nursing Career Day Jan. 18

The University of Washington, Bothell hosts its eighth annual Nursing Career Advancement Day Fair from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18. The fair will feature representatives of more than 20 Washington state health-care employers, and educational institutions will be available to discuss nursing careers and education opportunities. Organizations expected to participate include the Washington Center for Nursing; the UW School of Nursing; Swedish Medical Center; Seattle Children’s Hospital; and the Virginia Mason Medical Center, among others.
“Nursing Career Day is an important opportunity for prospective students, current students and alumni to network with regional employers and nursing education programs, “ said Emily Christian, assistant director of UW-Bothell’s career center. The nursing fair will be held in UW-Bothell’s Northcreek Events Center, 18115 Campus Way N.E., Bothell. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (425) 352-3662.
