Northwest Special Families and Northshore YMCA’s Can Do Run and Walk is set for Saturday

People are fired up while participating in last year's Can Do 5K/10K event in Bothell.

The Can Do 5K/10K Run and Walk, organized by Northwest Special Families and the Northshore YMCA, will take place Saturday and bring awareness to what kids with special needs can do.

The race will start and stop at The Seattle Times North Creek facility in Bothell (19200 120th Ave. N.E.). Registration will open at 7 a.m. and the first race will begin at 8:29 a.m.
