Kenmore Junior High 50th Anniversary Gala and Dinner Auction set for Feb. 3

Kenmore Junior High’s PTSA will hold a fund-raising 50th Anniversary Gala and Dinner Auction starting at 5 p.m. Feb. 3 at the Hollywood Schoolhouse,  14810 N.E. 145th St. Fee is $48 per person.

According to auction chair Beth Rosen, the school holds the fund-raiser every other year: two years ago, they raised $16,000, and this year’s goal is $20,000 for the PTSA.

The school is currently under construction in some spots, and Rosen noted that engraved pavers and a capstone for people to place their names on will be part of the auction.
