Erv Desmet gets his fellow fund-raisers fired up at last night’s Northshore YMCA 2012 Partners With Youth Annual Giving Campaign rally meeting at the Seattle Times building in Bothell.

The YMCA is raising money to help kids participate in its programs — including summer camps, before- and after-school child care and more. Its goal is to raise $146,000 by the end of February.
