Nichols takes seventh in 10,000 meters at Northeast-10 Conference meet

Bentley University received a pair of seventh-place finishes Friday during the opening day of the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Southern Connecticut State University.

Sophomore Ashley Nichols of Inglemoor High ran the 10,000 meters for the first time as a collegian, and finished in 40:36.05. In addition to seventh in the meet, that was good for fifth on Bentley’s all-time list.
