Inglemoor’s Demerath swings to third at state | 4A Tennis

Inglemoor High’s Sabrina Demerath took third at last weekend’s 4A state tennis tournament at the Columbia Basin Racquet Club in Richland.

The Vikings’ 4A district champion defeated Gemma Robinson of Olympia, 6-1, 6-1, and Sally Park of Kamiak, 7-5, 6-1, before losing to Sammi Hampton of Skyview, 6-2, 6-3.

Demerath then defeated Jelena Vidovic of Union, 6-2, 6-3, to take third.
