Paddlers had a choice of the long course: Redmond to Kenmore; or the short course: Out and back two-miler from Log Boom Park.

Fifty-seven athletes participated, and their families greeted them at Log Boom. Profits, about $500-plus, were donated to The Surfrider Foundation.
