The Kenmore Heritage Society presents its special June program

The Kenmore Heritage Society will highlight The Arts of Kenmore as a part of Kenmore’s vital contributions to the Northshore community at 7 p.m. on June 5.

The program is titled “History and future of The Arts of Kenmore,” and will feature founding president Roland Lindstrom and current president David Maehren. It will take place at the Kenmore Community Club, located at 7304 N.E. 175th Street,

The Arts of Kenmore was founded in 1998, the year Kenmore was incorporated. The organization has encouraged an appreciation of the arts in a variety of ways in the community, including giving grants to local schools and highlighting an array of art forms at its annual Art Show. Hear about how this community group was formed as well as new things on the horizon.
