Bothell’s McPherson honored as WIAA Athlete of the Week

Bothell junior Sam McPherson was honored by the WIAA as the Athlete of the Week for football during first week of the 2013 fall season.
McPherson ran the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown at last weekend’s Emerald City Kickoff Classic clash against Coeur d’Alene, at Husky Stadium.
Bothell won 44-43, with help from McPherson on offense and defense.
He had an interception, a fumble recovery, seven solo tackles, and 84 yards rushing.
