Bothell loses by 20 strokes to Newport | Prep boys golf

The Bothell High School boys golf team lost to Newport by 20 strokes Wednesday at Newcastle Golf Club. Newport finished the course with a team score of 191, while the Cougars completed the course in 211 strokes.

Only Max Hanson finished in the top five on the day for Bothell, shooting a three-over 39 on the par 36 course.

Bothell will try to get back on track at 3 p.m. on on Monday at Wayne Golf Course when they take on Eastlake.
