The Northshore Fire Department rescued a man from a ravine yesterday afternoon.

The Northshore Fire Department rescued a male who had fallen about 60 feet down a steep ravine Aug. 20.

The incident occurred at the 15300 block of Bothell Way NE. Upon arrival crews received information from the Lake Forest Park Police that officers were with a slightly injured male patient who was unable to walk out of the ravine on his own. The Technical Rescue Team from the Northshore Fire Department brought the patient up the ravine in a rescue litter with the aid of a specialized rope system.

The Northshore Technical Rescue Team received assistance from the Shoreline, Bothell, Woodinville, Kirkland and Bellevue Fire Departments and the Lake Forest Park Police.
