The Inglemoor High School Orchestra will perform its fall concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Bastyr University Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public, but donations are accepted and encouraged.
Inglemoor’s Orchestra and Wind Ensemble have been invited to perform at New York’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in April. Both groups are planning a variety of fundraisers to help the 100-plus students pay for the trip.
One of the selections at the Bastyr concert will feature guest soloist and Inglemoor alum Jameson Bratcher, who will perform the Mozart Horn Concerto in Eb, K. 495 on tuba, accompanied by the IHS Orchestra. Other selections will include compositions by composers such as Arcangelo Corelli, Giacomo Puccini , Brian Balmages and Brent Hakanson.
The concert will also feature performances by Woodinville High School’s Orchestra.
