Bothell hosts Bethel in Round of 32 Friday | Prep football

The Bothell High School football team will begin the postseason at 7 p.m. on Friday at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, as they host Bethel during the Round of 32 for the State playoffs.

Bothell finished the regular season as the 4A KingCo champions with a perfect 8-0 record in league and 9-0 overall. The Cougars and Camas High School are the only two undefeated 4A teams left in the state. Camas is also 9-0.

Bethel finished the regular season with a 2-5 in-league record and a 5-5 record overall. The team lost its last game of the regular season to  Grahm-Kapowsin, 35-13, on Friday.

Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday and tickets are $7 for adults and students without an ASB card and $5 for students with an ASB card and adults over 65.
