Bothell High School graduate Zach LaVine won the 2015 NBA All-Star dunk contest on Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York city.
LaVine, who also attended UCLA and now plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, earned a perfect score of 50 for his “Space Jam” dunk during the first round. Wearing a No. 23 Micheal Jordan jersey, LaVine passed the ball through his legs and put the ball through the hoop on the opposite side from which he approached the basket.

LaVine then earned a second perfect 50 score for a “Tomahawk” dunk.
The former Cougar’s only competition came from the Orlando Magic’s Victor Oladipo, but his scores were not even close to LaVine’s.
The final dunk from LaVine came on a pass from teammate Shabazz Muhammad off the backboard, where LaVine grabbed the ball out of mid-air, passed it through his legs and threw it down with authority. The dunk earned him a score of 49.
LaVine helped the Bothell High School basketball team reach the state tournament during his senior season.
