Parent, community preview of secondary instructional materials for grades 10-12 English

The Northshore School District is concluding a curriculum review and selection process of English/Language Arts textbooks for students in grades 10-12. The textbooks, which are primarily intended for courses titled English 10, English 11 and English 12, include a writing text and a non-fiction anthology for each grade.

The textbooks under consideration for student use in the fall of 2015 will be available for parent and community review from 3-6 p.m. on May 20 at the Administrative Center, located at 3330 Monte Villa Parkway in Bothell.

English teachers who participated in the pilot textbook project will be present to answer questions.
